Address Verification Procedures

As of December 2021, the addresses of individuals registered under Temporary Protection as well as International Protection throughout all of Turkey are being verified by law enforcement officers. Individuals who are found to not be residing at the address they provided during their registration procedures will be sent an SMS message by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management (PDMM) instructing them to update their address information. Individuals who fail to complete these procedures to update their registered address may have their temporary protection status cancelled.
